It's already been one year since Gerald Levert passed away
(10 November 2006).
This is one of the four CDs of Gerald Levert that I have,
"Groove On", released in 1994.
I bought it because I liked "I'd Give Anything".
Other tracks flow smoothly, too, especially I like the last half of this
album starting from "How Many Times" to the end.
Listen to "How Many Times" - it is very emotional as if you can feel
his soul.
"Someone" and "Can't Help Myself" are my favorites as well.
To the best of my knowledge, I don't think Gelard Levert has ever
worked with Babyface (please correct me if I'm wrong).
But in this album he sends his "Thank You" to LA Reid and Babyface
"for inspiring me to become a better songwriter" (smile).
